Music in its many forms is an expression of emotion and life itself.
Despite its ability to broaden our imaginations and transform our moods and emotions, the art of music is a vessel that brings people and communities together.
Regardless of the genre music transcends space, time, communities, and culture.
On Feel Good with Andy Maqondwana, Andy delves into the songs that many friendship circles have adopted as their own personal anthems.
Andy further on urges listeners to reminisce about how these songs make them feel and what memories these songs bring to them.
In voice note, one listener raved about how Sista Betina is her friendship circle’s national anthem.
Another listener, Kgotso emphasises that I’m your friend by Gregor Salto is his friendship anthem.
“I’m your friend by Gregor Salto, is our friendship anthem”
He continued: “The reason why we like this song is that we once went on a field trip. Whilst driving, the driver played it and we were the only ones singing to it”.
