“Should I tell my husband that my ex has agreed to help us with money” – Blindspot.
Financial troubles are very common in many relationships, especially during these tough economic times. On this blindspot, anonymous shared a dilemma that involves her ex offering to rescue her and her current husband. She’s in a predicament because she asked for his help behind her husband’s back. Desperate time calls for unusual measures.
“Uncle T my hubby and I got ourselves in a financial mess, we made a bad financial decision and we lost close to R300 000. Right now we are struggling to make ends meet and we are likely going to move in with his parents.”
“However, I have a solution, the father of my firstborn is an entrepreneur and is doing fairly well I asked him if could lend us R100 000, just so we can pay off some things that will relieve us, and we won’t have to move. My ex is willing to lend us the money and he even said he will pay the fees not just for our son, but the two girls I share with my husband, for the whole of next year.”
“I never want my husband to feel like a failure, however, I know that this is a good deal, my ex is now married and his wife has also agreed to him help us, should I tell my hubby about this deal or should I come up with a lie and to protect his feelings and most importantly his ego.”
