“I have been married for five years. Before marriage, we would go out and do exciting things together, but there has been no romance since we got married.
“I feel like we are just co-existing. We sleep in the same bed, but all we do is have sex and fall asleep—no cuddling or pillow talk.
“When I raise this, he doesn’t say much, but he will attempt to touch me so that we can be intimate, and that’s where it ends. My marriage feels dull and cold. I want to reconnect with the man I fell in love with. I refuse to accept that married life should be this boring.
“I have suggested therapy, but my husband does not believe in it. What’s worse, he is not even a man who goes out—if anything, he is always indoors. I can’t even accuse him of cheating because there are zero signs of that.
“Can a marriage survive with no romance, especially if it was there before? What could be my blind spot?”
