Lindiwe Sisulu will be consulting her legal team to deal with comments made by Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.
In the latest heated exchange between the pair, Zondo spoke out against Sisulu’s IOL opinion piece.
Penning her brazen views about the rule of law in South Africa, Sisulu asked, “Mzansi, have we seen justice?”
Sisulu defends her criticism of the Constitution and said that it was far from an attack as Zondo interpreted it.
In a media briefing, Zondo was outraged by Sisulu’s views that white monopoloy capital controls the judiciary in the country.
“They seek to invoke “sanctions” to close down debates within the ANC on any and all subjects where money influences the elites and affects our body politic is discussed,” as quoted from Sisulu’s opinion piece.
Zondo has called Sisulu’s opinion piece an attack on the judiciary and said she has insulted not just the judiciary but black judges especially.
In response, Sisulu took to social media to share that she notes the comments made by Zondo and they will be dealt with at an appropriate time and place.
