South African singer Lerato Moipone Molapo, known professionally as Lira, recently celebrated life with her parents in one of the country treasured luxury experiences.
She took her parents on a luxury Blue Train experience that has a 54-hour journey route between Pretoria and Cape Town (1 600 kilometres), through some of the most diverse scenery offered by the African sub-continent.
Lira took to her Instagram to share her experience saying it was all worth it.
“Took my parents on @thebluetrainsa to celebrate LIFE !! This 3-day trip was from Cape Town to Pretoria! What an epic experience! The Blue Train is on 50% special till the end of Oct 2023 – ALL INCLUSIVE! “

A journey of healing
During a trip to Germany in March of last year, the 44-year-old experienced a stroke that left her unable to talk, write, or read.
The Afro-pop singer has since opened up to her fans about her recovery process and how she doesn’t take life for granted.
At the recent “RMB Starlight Classics 2023” performance, she also made a moving and victorious comeback to the stage.
