Skeem Saam actress Hellen Bright Motsuki is currently enjoying a luxurious and soul-soothing retreat in Phuket, Thailand, taking time to prioritise rest and wellness.
Sharing her journey with fans on social media, Hellen highlighted the importance of self-care through a series of scenic snapshots.
“Healing my mind, body, and soul in paradise — because a Queen knows that true luxury is self-care,” she captioned one of her posts.
The actress had already hinted at her getaway last week, sharing a photo from a first-class flight with the caption:
“When days get dark and the mind’s a maze, I choose self-care and luxury – catching flights, not feelings. Travelling first class is my way of taking care of me, one elegant mile at a time.”
On Monday morning, she revealed how her day began with spiritual reflection:
“There’s nothing like the ocean breeze to start the day feeling close to God. Pure magic in every moment,” she wrote, after visiting the serene Baba Nest.
Meanwhile, back on screen, the latest Skeem Saam storyline has stirred up serious conversation. Viewers have been gripped by the dramatic plot twist involving Mmapitsi, who cheats on her high school sweetheart and husband Tbose Maputla with DJ Thomas.
The affair has ignited heated debates on social media, with fans weighing in on the morality and emotional complexity of the storyline.
DJ Thomas, portrayed by actor Tisetso Thoka, has come under intense public scrutiny – not just on screen, but in real life.“I’m being segregated as a man. A lot of men are hating on me,” Thoka shared in a recent interview.
“I’m keeping it low-key because it’s been dangerous being out there. I’ve had people say they don’t want to see me — and some women even spit on the ground when they see me.”
