Television presenter Kayise Ngqula has been battling with insecurities.
The star took to Instagram to share about how having scars has affected her body image and her confidence.
As a result, she used to wear clothes that would cover her scars. But recently, the star says she found a ‘deep love for herself’ that gave her permission to wear whatever she wanted to wear without shame.
The ‘Our Perfect Wedding’ presenter shared an image of herself wearing shorts with a crop top.
“I want to talk about just how emancipated I felt wearing this outfit yesterday after a long battle with insecurities about how to reveal certain parts about my body that I wasn’t comfortable with or didn’t like, particularly my scars,” she wrote on Instagram.
“This is new found and affirming deep love I have for myself has not only given me permission to show up in the world as I’d like to but it has also automatically given the universe and her people the permission to love me back, just as I am,” she added.
