South African artist Cici, real name Busisiwe Thwala, is a new mom.
The singer gave birth to her son Dialo in May.
Like most new moms, Cici says she has been struggling to shed off the baby weight.
She says it was hard to get used to how her body has changed as a result of the pregnancy.
“After having a baby it’s so tough to wake up in a different body than the one you use to have,” she wrote on Instagram.

She also battled with eating right and exercising.
“For a lil while I resented hubby because I had to do all the hard work after “WE” had a baby.. I’m bad at sticking to a diet almost consistent with gym..Just almost . I’m not there yet.. And I try not to be as hard on myself,” she wrote on Instagram.
“The sagging skin, Stretch mark, oh and the saggy boobs,” she wrote.
However, even with all the struggles, the ‘Iqiniso’ hitmaker says she enjoys being a mom.
“But nonetheless it’s nice there by Motherhood,” she wrote.
Cici is not the only celebrity who recently shared their struggle with getting used to their bodies post-pregnancy.
Last month, Linda Mtoba opened up to her Instagram followers about struggling to love her ‘new’ body.
“This body, my body, was a stranger. We worked hard to get to know each other again. We worked even harder to love me again. I found her, deep within the layers of my skin, I found her. I’m happy to be with her again, though bruised and scarred she remains,” she wrote on Instagram.
