The seasoned South African sports journalist, television and radio personality Robert Marawa has revealed that he battled COVID-19 for three weeks, and his health deteriorated that he spent a week in the ICU for High Care.
Marawa has been off the air for several weeks, but his rehabilitation has been so encouraging that he could be back on Monday to present his Marawa Sports Worldwide, which airs on Radio 2000 and Metro FM.
He took to Twitter, revealing that he tested positive for COVID-19 and thanked everyone for the well-wishes.

Robert Marawa urged South Africans to take the pandemic seriously and to follow strict protocols.
“The COVID-19 pandemic is real and it’s something that my family and I have been dealing with.
