Comedian and model Elsa Majimbo recently took to X to share how much she misses living in South Africa – from its vibrant culture to its chaotic everyday life.
“I miss everything about South Africa, from seeing people’s phones get stolen in real time to the groove,” she wrote, sparking laughter and criticism among her followers.

Majimbo is a Kenyan national who’s well known for her satirical monologues, usually featuring her eating potato chips, leaning back to a pillow, and using a pair of retro sunglasses as a prop.
Majimbo gained recognition during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown by making home-based comedy videos.
Since then, she’s evolved into what many now call the queen of luxury, frequently posting glimpses of her glamorous lifestyle: luxurious jewelry, talking about her high-profile dates, and talking about how she’s always rubbing shoulders with prominent figures.
