Refiloe Moahloli the best-selling author from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape, has a new offering in another charming, uniquely South African children’s book.
The now full-time writer living in Johannesburg, joined Jenny Crwys Williams for an exclusive reading on her latest kiddie’s book, “How many ways can you say goodbye.”
How many ways can you say hello?
The book is the second in the ‘series’, with the first title, “How many ways can you say hello,” teaching not just children but parents, carers, and grandparents the tools to learn how to greet in the 11 official South African languages.
Jenny did touch on the incredible attention to detail with the illustrations in the book and one of the drawcards to this book is that there is a CD of the text, narrated by the author. Which serves as a guide to the correct pronunciation of each greeting.
Refiloe has considered the technological advances since the first book, as her sequel allows parents to scan a code to access that audio.
