It seems Zahara’s financial struggles are deepening as the Daily Sun reports that the singer is desperate for help.
Last week, Zahara confirmed that her R1,9 million home in Roodepoort is facing a bank auction after she failed to make the monthly R17 665,40 repayments.
Now, the publication reports that Zahara is desperately appealing to the public to help her, with any amount even if it’s just R100.
As quoted from the Daily Sun, Zahara allegedly pleaded, “Even if it’s as little as R100. I’m open for help from anyone!”
According to the publication Thabo Jama, who previously worked with Zahara on Shapapala and Thandaza has reached out to help the struggling artist.
The singer blames the Covid-19 pandemic for her financial difficulties but it has been reported that she first defaulted on payments in 2018.
Last month, Zahara shared that her home had been burgled and reported that thieves had stolen 6 of her SAMA awards.
