Following a review from an unhappy customer over her wig-line HairMajesty, DJ Zinhle says, in an official statement, that all feedback has been noted and taken seriously.
“As a businesswoman, I’m humbled by recent events and want to take this opportunity to inform you that we are taking all feedback seriously and are doing everything in our power to ensure that our customer promises are being met.”
She states that as a “manufacturer of premium hair products, our instinctive purpose has always been to lead and serve with excellence in the ethnic beauty space.”
In keeping with its promise of sustainable quality, HairMajesty accepts and deeply regrets that a recent customer report on a particular product did not reflect this.
“As an emerging business with a promising growth trajectory, we understand, at the core, that our biggest value proposition is and will continue to be our customers.”
The manufacturer notes that this incident highlighted an “important opportunity for them to understand their clients better” and they have enhanced their feedback process on their website.
According to the statement, HairMajesty has started initiating “stricter internal quality controls” and we will be renewing their procedures to ramp up the integrity of their supply chain management practices and customer reviews service.
Looking ahead, they are working on an initiative that speaks to a much-needed pursuit to craft a healthy agenda for aspiring women entrepreneurs in the beauty and hair care space.
More details about this initiative will follow in September.
