The ninth season of the popular reality TV show, Uthando Nes’thembu, is set to air tonight at 8 PM.
According to Mzansi Magic, the “Realnovela” will now air twice a week, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, picking up exactly where the explosive special, Uthando neS’thembu: Uncut, left off in December.
The show continues to follow polygamist Musa Mseleku and his wives: MaCele, MaYeni, MaNgwabe, and MaKhumalo.
However, the family has been left at a crossroads following the arrival of wife number five, MaKhwela, who recently gave birth.
As the new season begins, the tension is at an all-time high; some of the wives have threatened to leave, while Mseleku himself has been battling serious health issues.
The Mseleku family has come a long way since they were first introduced to viewers in May 2017.
Over time, the once-happy unit has become deeply strained, leaving viewers wondering: will things ever be the same again?
Speaking to Mzansi Magic, Mseleku urged fans to tune in, promising a dynamic story and a front-row seat for the audience.
“People should watch this season because it brings something new. For the first time, we see the reactions of all the people involved in the show. Nothing will be hidden from them as they get the opportunity to be part of the family and have the right to openly share their opinions,” said Mseleku.
