Sharing a series of quotes about self love, Sonia who found out her husband was cheating in 2022, is in no hurry to get into another relationship, saying she’s not going to lower her standards for any man.
In an interview with the SowetanLive, Sonia said while she is on journey of self love currently, she has not given up on love.
“Gaslighting can strip your dignity, self worth and self-esteem. I had to do the work – mind, body and soul. I had to strip myself bare, introspect and self-reflect.
I started practising self-care daily and self-love became my core, my love language. I know I deserve better and I want nothing lss.
My type? A type that will love me unconditionally, the type who will understand my love language, the type who will respect me and support me in all I do.
The type who will understand I have dreams to pursue and bucket lists to fulfill.”
Recently, Sonia set the record straight on her divorce sharing that Matthew filed for divorce in November 2022.
Matthew had according to Sonia cheated on her with Bongani Mthombeni-Moller, who also filed for divorce from her husband in February 2023.
Sonia says Bongani’s divorce was finalized in November 2023, while her divorce is still ongoing.
Despite their divorce not being finalized yet, Matthew and Bongani have made their relationship official and have appeared in public together.
