That’s right the show has replaced former presenter Xolani Khumalo with Xolani Maphanga who will fill the role from April 2024.
This comes after the show was taken off the DStv channel following Khumalo’s arrest after the death of a drug dealer.
It is reported that Khumalo and other members of the Sizok’thola team adopted harsh interrogation tactics, such as waterboarding to allegedly force drug dealers to make confessions.
In July 2023, a suspected drug dealer passed away, prompting the channel to part ways with Khumalo.
On Friday, 23 February Moja Love said the return of Sizok’thola is exciting as it is one of the channel’s flagship shows.
“The third season comes back with a bang with Xolani Maphanga replacing Xolani Khumalo.
Xolani is not new to Moja Love’s screens as he currently presents X-Repo and comes with a wealth of experience to deliver this captivating show.
He will be sweeping the streets of South Africa clean together with law enforcement whilst rooting out drugs and exposing drug dealers, including drug lords.
From the leafy suburbs to ekasi, Xolani will leave no stone unturned.”

News that Khumalo has been replaced comes after he announced that he’s the host of a new drug-busting show which is “Sizok’thola times ten.”
Khumalo revealed his new show in an interview with DJ Sbu on his podcast Hustler’s Corner where he said he’s able to spread his wings and engage with the government.
