Former Sizok’thola presenter Xolani Khumalo might just be in more trouble after alleged footage of the show’s crew using intimidation and violence to get confessions from drug dealers has emerged.
This comes after City Press reports that drug dealers were allegedly waterboarded by the Moja Love show’s team into making confessions.
The channel parted ways with Xolani earlier this month, due to his possible involvement in the mysterious circumstances of a drug dealer’s death.
In July, a suspected drug dealer died whilst being interrogated by Xolani and his crew.
Sizok’thola crew, along with community law enforcement groups organized by the local South African Police Service (SAPS), responded to a community tip-off regarding a drug bust in Katlehong on July 19, 2023.
Moja Love asserted that the information received from the community was deemed credible and verifiable, prompting their participation in the operation.
A case of murder was opened at Vosloorus police station and transferred to Katlehong North police station, where an investigation is underway.
