South African singer and songwriter Nomcebo Zikode has announced her exciting new career direction.
She recently took to social media to announce that she has been appointed as the new African Renaissance and Diaspora network ambassador.
The international non-profit organisation was started in 1990 and serves as a coordinating body working to unite the efforts of individuals and organizations towards a single purpose.
The organisation supports the advent of the African renaissance by fostering unity between African Nations and all peoples of African descent.

Zikode has been appointed with media executive Timothy Kublnu Akeju as goodwill ambassadors for the campaign to give a red card to all forms of discrimation and violence against women and girls.
She shared a press statement on her Instagram captioned: “Exciting news in my career African Renaissance and Diaspora network appoints Nomcebo Zikode and Akeju as ambassadors,I’m ready to do humanitarian work for the world @d_diallo @officialakeju” Many of her fans are excited as they congratulated her on her new achievement.”

The Jerusalema star recently made a cameo appearance on the US reality show Love and Hip Hop.
Her most recent memorable performance was during the Africa Cup of Nations Finals, where she performed at the closing ceremony.
