Nomcebo Zikode is flying the SA flag sky high in her debut on the US reality TV show, Love & Hip Hop.
In her debut episode, Nomcebo congratulated the cast of Love and Hip Hop for taking an ancestry test, a test that has become very popular in America.
The test is designed to help those who take it discover their ancestry and lineage, through a sample of their DNA the test is able to dig into their true ancestral origins, taking a step back in your prehistoric roots.

The cast of the globally popular reality series included Karlie Redd, Yandy Harris-Smith, Papoose and Momma Dee.
Zikode, applauded them and gave them a special performance of her global hit song with Master KG, Jerusalema.
“I want to congratulate you for taking your ancestry text. This means you know your roots. I want to say you are welcome in this beautiful Africa. You are welcome any time,” she said.

The new season of Love and Hip Hop will also be showcasing a few more recognisable African artists in the coming weeks.
It will also be featuring South African musician Busiswa collaborating with the members of both the “Love & Hip Hop” and “Black Ink Crew” for the show as well as Liberian celebrity chef Chauncy Yarngo.
According to the show, with this season, they plan to “examine the harsh effects of slavery and challenge stereotypes with Black culture, while also celebrating Africa’s rich history, music, craftsmanship, style, dance and food.”
