Bonko and Lesego Khoza marked one year as husband and wife with a stunning video and photoshoot.
The couple who have been together for 9-years recently shared how they are redefining love with a YouTube series.
Not taking even a second for granted, the South African stars, tied the knot on the date they first started dating 9-years ago.
The 13 March was when Bonko and Lesego met at the Market Theatre Laboratory.
One year as husband as wife equates to, “365 days, 8760 hours, 525600 minutes and 31536000 seconds” as the couple added every second they’ve shared together thus far.
The shoot was captured by videographer, Veli Phasha and photographer Itumeleng aka Wadinepe.
Bonko currently plays the role of Mqhele Zulu on the gripping series, The Wife. His obsessive and abusive on-screen character is according to his wife, chalk and cheese to the man she married.
The couple shared a touching tribute to each other on their 1st anniversary, “Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
