South African media personality Minnie Dlamini recently showcased her endless love for her two-year-old son by surprising him with a special gift from Louis Vuitton.
In a heartwarming video shared on social media, baby Netha can be seen joyfully carrying the gift and expressing his gratitude with a heartfelt “Thank you, mama.” The touching moment touched the hearts of many of Minnie’s followers, with one commenting on her parenting skills, stating, “The ‘Thank you, mama’ is a gift for the soul. You are raising him well.”
Minnie and Netha’s father, Quinton Jones, announced their divorce in early 2022 to polarizing reactions.
Opening up about her divorce in more detail recently, Minnie said that raising a child in separate homes was never how she envisioned her life. She revealed that the seemingly perfect marriage was over long before she made the announcement public.
“People need to understand that when a marriage ends, it doesn’t end at the announcement or the day before the announcement; it ends long before that. By the time I announced it, I had gone through a lot of processes already. At the time of the announcement, it felt like a really big relief and a weight off my shoulders.
“I never imagined getting divorced. I always thought that I would raise my kids the way I was raised. I just felt like, for me, the timing was off; I felt like I didn’t know myself. Furthermore, I went on to lose myself in my marriage.”
