“Oops! I took it there!” Mihlali Ndamase has been slammed as bitter and petty after calling her ex-boyfriend, Leeroy Sidambe a “double adapter” and “after 9”.
The terms are meant to be a derogatory description of someone who is bi-sexual and leading a double life.
During an Instagram Live, Mihlali called out Leeroy, with whom she reconciled after parting ways earlier this year, for making public statements that she’s abusing substances.
The businessman and beauty influencer’s messy breakup took a violent turn recently after Leeroy accused Mihlali of trying to stab him when he didn’t answer her incessant calls.
Mihlali reportedly called Leeroy 78 times and when she failed to get a hold of him, requested that his son allow her entry into his home. Leeroy said Mihlali armed herself with a knife and tried to kill him after accusing him of cheating on her.
In response, Mihlali claimed Leeroy had physically assaulted her and shared pictures of bruises on her face.
Mihlali eventually released a statement admitting that her relationship with Leeroy was toxic, but it seems the social media influencer is still unable to let the relationship go and during a recent live video, Mihlali made comments about Leeroy’s sexuality.
While Mihlali may have hoped that her followers stood in solidarity with her when she called Leeroy a double adapter and after 9, many felt Mihlali was bitter and was exhibiting toxic “pick me” behaviour.
Others criticised Mihlali for being obsessed enough to call Leeroy 78 times during the relationship, and now that they’re over she’s sharing their bedroom secrets like a bitter ex.
Audio from Mihlali’s Instagram Live has been shared to social media.
Mihlali Ndamase refer to married ex-boyfriend, which people warned her about, Leeroy, as a after 9 and double adapter which implies he is a gay/bisexual man in the closet.
