Rachel Kolisi shares why it’s important to fill your own cup and prioritize your mental, physical and emotional health.
The mother, wife to Siya Kolisi, and businesswoman took a day off her busy schedule a few days ago and filled her diary for the day with everything good for her mind, body and soul.
Rachel, who has a lot on her plate as her family makes a move back to South Africa from France, took some time to pamper herself and realign her energy and positive mental state.
“Today I took a leave day from work and filled it with a bunch of stuff that feeds my mind, body and soul.
After dropping the kids I started with a workout with @mark_fitfreak at @fitfreak_training (I’ll be doing a longer post about this soon), survived a much-needed sports massage by @miguel.uys 😅
Had my first pedi in over a year and the most divine facial (at the same time), at @meraki_cape_town .
I had 1 meeting with a mentor guiding me on my business journey.Finished off Friday with a hike up Lion’s Head with @offlame_g haven’t been able to spend one-on-one time with him in ages and I had this moment when we were at the top, eating an apple, chatting with Liyema and my heart just filled with so much gratitude! For health, for the view, for Liyema and for my Apple – simple remains the dream ❤️
This is also a reminder to submit your leave form (where possible) and fill your cup.”
Over the next 2-days, Rachel will be packing up the home she and her family shared in France over the past year before she returns to South Africa.
This after her husband left French club Racing 92 with two years remaining on his contract.
