Getting married in 2023 is no easy feat, as one ecstatic bride soon found out after sharing a video of walking down the aisle with her groom who was on his phone the entire time.
While the blushing bride looked happy that she was finally a wifey, her groom looked disinterested while he remained on his phone right after their vow exchange.
Social media users shared some not-so-subtle hints to the blissfully unaware bride, that her new husband definitely doesn’t want to be married to her.
With his phone firmly in hand, the groom appeared to be texting someone, while his bride smiled, danced and thanked guests who congratulated the couple on their way out of the church.
The bride seemed to confront her groom about being on his phone when they stepped out of the church, and by the looks of it, he dismissed her and continued to text whoever it was that had his attention on his wedding day.
One TikTok user who created a duet of the bride’s video said, “This is proof that a lot of women are in marriages they are not happy in, they are just happy to get married and have the title of wife.”
Other comments included mentioning that this man has no respect for his significant other, wondering who could be more important than his bride on his wedding day.
The video has since gone viral with both men and women reminding women to notice the red flags that a man displays that you are simply not the one.
Some of the responses include:
“He’s probably texting the love of his life.”
“How annoyed he looked when talking to her on the stairs changed her whole mood.”
“He’s honeymoon will probably be spent with the side piece, he’s busy making arrangements now.”
“Even if you get the wedding, it doesn’t guarantee that you get the man, oh honey! My heart breaks for you.”
