Former Miss South Africa Cindy Nell-Roberts sustained injuries to her head, and was treated for a concussion in a death-defying crash in Cape Town on Tuesday, 12 September.
The Miss SA 2002 title holder’s black Range Rover was dragged by an out-of-control 24 wheeler truck on Kloof Nek Road, Cape Town for 100m.
As reported by News24, the 42-year old was treated for shock and minor injuries.
“I am so traumatized, but I am fine. I was driving on Kloof Street and going about my business, and I found it unusual that such a big truck was driving on that road.
As I was turning, I heard a screeching sound, and the truck knocked into me and dragged my car for 100m and spun out of control.”

The truck, which was transporting frozen fish boxes crashed into several vehicles before eventually overturning outside an apartment.
It is unclear what caused the truck driver to lose control of his vehicle, and police are investigating a case of reckless and negligent driving.
Cindy Nell-Roberts was among 6 people who were injured in the crash.
