South African actor Didintle Khunou’s star continues to shine as she takes on new and exciting new characters.
She will be the first black actress to play Snow White in the Mother of all pantomimes, “Adventures in Pantoland,”
The play will be performed at the Joburg Theatre from November 6 to December 24.
The play is s five pantomimes in one: Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Snow White, Jack and The Beanstalk and Peter Pan.
According to writer and director, Janice Honeyman:
“We’ll take you on a daring and dangerous quest to retrieve the long-lost, sneakily-stolen Golden Goblet of Goodness. It’s goodies versus baddies, heroes versus villains, the happies versus the horrids – and you’ll be there with us to conquer greed and recapture the glow of goodness in Pantoland”.

This is not the first time she will be making history.
She was the first black actress to portray Janet Weiss in the 2019 remake of the popular 1975 musical “The Rocky Horror.”
Khunou was recently a guest on Kaya 959 Breakfast with Dineo Rannaka and Sol Phenduka.
