South African athlete and activist Caster Semenya recently celebrated her daughter Oarabile Semenya’s 3rd birthday.
Semenya shared her appreciation on social media for having Oarabile in their lives.
“Happy 3rd birthday to Rabi @oarabile_semenya may this day be the one you wished for and enjoy it to the fullest, it is a blessed one indeed.”
In January of this year, Caster Semenya celebrated her birthday and wedding anniversary on Sunday, 07 January.
Violet shared a post on her Instagram marvelling at all the qualities that make Caster an amazing partner.
“We have been together for 14 years, married for 7 years. This is the kind of person you’ve been, stubborn, strict, crazy, a lovely partner, a caring heart, a cheerful friend, and an attentive mother to our kids.
I love you with all my heart. Happy 7th anniversary to us.”
Caster Semenya’s children
Caster Semenya and her wife, Violet Raseboya, are proud parents of two daughters.
The firstborn Oratile was born in 2019.
Their second and youngest daughter, Oarabile, was born in 2022. Semenya announced on social media with a photo of her and Violet’s wedding bands draped over the newborn’s feet.

In 2023, Caster Semenya released her memoir: The Race To Be Myself.
In her memoir, Caster addresses the discrimination she faced for the first time, revealing the sex detemining tests she was subjected to because her “male-like” features raised eyebrows after she won her first 800m gold medal at the age of 18.
