Grammy-nominated US artist, Ari Lennox has added South Africa to her list of places to never visit.
This follows her interview with podcaster MacG and her rant about how crude he was in his questioning.
MacG asked about the singer’s sex life, wanting to know if “someone is f**king her good right now?”
The question and the manner in which it was posed, caught Ari Lennox off-guard and she asked MacG why did he ask it in such a distasteful manner.
MacG responded that he was making reference to the lyrics of her song and was unphased by her response, laughing throughout.
Feeling ridiculed and disrespected, Ari Lennox went on a Twitter rant expressing her disgust at the South African podcaster.

In a series of since deleted tweets, Ari Lennox called out the podcaster for his creepy conduct.
She said she felt blindsided and ambushed by his line of questioning and was not impressed that parts of the interview were not trashed like MacG’s team had promised her.
Just because I happily and freely sing about sex, don't make any kind of disrespect warranted. I clearly was in immense shock and hate that I didn't react differently.

Since the interview the 30-year old RnB singer has taken on South Africans on Twitter who have called her a hypocrite.
Hurling personal insults at Courtney Shanade Salter, known professionally as Ari Lennox, the singer said she was done with interviews.
“I don’t want anyone feeling sorry for me. I’m tired of the narrative. Exhausted. I’m good, I promise. But as for interviews, I’m not doing them anymore. There are enough lives and interviews out there already.” – Ari Lennox tweeted.
This isn’t the first time MacG has been called out for his insensitive interviews. Last year Amanda Du Pont took legal action against him following an interview with Jub Jub.
