Amanda du Pont, a Swazi-born actress based in South Africa, is expanding her skincare business into the worldwide market.
The South African actress revealed on her social media account that the Lelive brand had debuted in the United Kingdom.
Amanda’s unofficial Swazi name meaning “of the nation or world” inspired the name lelive (pronounced “leh-lee-veh”). According to the product’s website, Lelive skincare products were created with feedback from a predominantly South African clientele and target common African skin conditions such as dryness, hyperpigmentation, and acne.
She posted a video of the product being advertised on the streets of the UK and captioned it with,
“We are proud to share this special moment in our brand’s history. we have just launched in the UK. thank you for co-creating lelive and for your ongoing support. we are thrilled to open our community to the world and share the beauty of Africa,”
