The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has once again called for the relocation of the South African Parliament to Tshwane.
The political party has made calls that many of the issues of time wasted on travelling & the saving of costs would be dealt with by moving to Tshwane.
The EFF calls for any money which would be set aside for repairs of what seems like irreversible damage, unless there is large-scale construction, to be used to relocate Parliament to Tshwane where the Union Buildings reside. pic.twitter.com/BDR2Dt6dQi

In a statement released following the mysterious fire, the red berets gave reasons why it’s important now more than ever to relocate the National Assembly.
“As much as we note the fires with concern, the EFF has long called for Parliament to be relocated to a central location for political and cost-related reasons. It will undermine what the thieving founders of the Union of South Africa sought to achieve in seeking peace amongst themselves by splitting the land they stole,”
They also further stated that any money that would be used to repair what seems as irreparable damages should be used for the relocation.
“The EFF, therefore, calls for any money which would be set aside for repairs of what seems like irreversible damage, unless there is a large-scale construction, to be used to relocate Parliament to Tshwane where the Union Buildings reside.”
“If there is any appetite to curb wasteful government expenditure and cut all ties related to the colonial framework established by those who conquered this nation, this fire must serve as an opportunity to permanently relocate Parliament to Gauteng. This will allow government work to be synchronised.”

EFF’s former spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to social media on Sunday evening, while emergency organizations continued to battle against the impact, calling the incident “A beautiful fire”.
He said “Whatever the explanation! Whatever the objectives: IT IS A BEAUTIFUL FIRE!”
Whatever the cause! Whatever the intentions: IT IS A BEAUTIFUL FIRE

A fire that allows us to start from scratch! A clean slate
Don’t renovate!
Turn it into a museum as we accept a gift of so beautiful a fire! A clean slate to start afresh: IN TSHWANE

Many of the party’s leaders also shared their sentiments about the fire, with Deputy President Floyd Shivambu saying, “Keeping parliament in Cape Town is plainly illogical! The pillar is One Capital City!”
We all should agree that instead of repairing this colonial establishment, @ParliamentofRSA must be relocated to a central and easily accessible area where the administrative Capital is. Keeping parliament in Cape Town is plainly illogical! The pillar is One Capital City! pic.twitter.com/hMLjoTc828
