Makhadzi announces the completion of her studio album African Queen 2.0.
The announcement comes just in time for the festive season.
“My fans were like there is no December without Makhadzi . The Pens down, the parties, all gatherings need Makhadzi wa vhorine the N1 also need Makhadzi, I said hold my beer.”
Makhadzi posted.
This year, Makhadzi filled up a stadium in Botswana with her One Woman Show.
Her show had over 26k attendees.
Makhadzi on being undervalued
At this year’s SAMAs, Makhadzi’s performance was cut short.
Fans were disappointed to see their favourite star for a brief moment.
In a series of deleted posts, Makhadzi said they cut her short because they “don’t value her talent.”
She revealed that for some reason, she was treated differently compared to her counterparts.
“Everyone who was there during my rehearsals can tell that I was treated like they are doing me a favour.
“But I remain the queen of my work as I don’t want to disappoint my fans.”
“I always want to perform with my own dancers. But the most important thing is how can you let me rehearse for five minutes when others were given unlimited time.”
