Duduzane Zuma has handed over keys to a new house to a KwaZulu-Natal flood victim who lost his home earlier this year.
Not only did the presidential hopeful fund the project but he got his hand dirty and helped build the house too.
In a video shared by one of his business partners, Duduzane presents the furnished home to the man who lost everything he owned in the floods that devastated the KZN province in April.
Speaking after handing over the keys to the house, Duduzane said, “It’s a beautiful day for all of us here today, because we managed to pull people together who wouldn’t ordinarily come together.
People who are not architects, plumbers, tilers, builders came together to make this project possible and that says a lot.”
The businessman turned politician previously shared that it’s his vision for the people of South Africa to unite and build a better future.
Duduzane stressed that he wants to set a legacy outside that of his father, former President Jacob Zuma.
He has been busy with on-the-ground work in communities that have been affected by the floods.
