The TV presenter just got accepted into Henley Business School.
“Every #DreamGirl ought to always make an effort to continually improve herself … I’m officially on my way to my 3rd Qualification, the last one being an Honours in Marketing… I can’t wait to start this new journey….” she wrote on Instagram.
Ayanda explained why she is aiming for an MBA.
“My aim is to merge the worlds of digital disruption and traditional marketing methods in a quantifiable manner – I believe that this is where I’ll be able to add the most value in my future endeavours … LETS FLIP THE SCRIPT!!! An #MBA for a #DreamGirl”
A woman on a mission
Ayanda Thabethe has made big strides in her career over the past few years. The 35-year-old former model is more than just a pretty face. The marketing graduate has worked in the medical field – selling medical devices and diagnostics for Johnson & Johnson.
She has also sold pharmaceutical products for another company and worked as a brand manager for L’Oréal.
Ayanda would go to auditions on her lunch breaks, and eventually bagged top modeling gigs. She joined the ‘Top Billing’ team in 2017 and her career has been soaring ever since.
“I got into the industry quite late, but I think it happened the way it was supposed to happen,” she told The Bar magazine in 2019.
Ayanda’s hard work has been paying off. In 2019, she paid off her first home – a home she bought one year earlier!
By the looks of her latest pursuit, she has big things planned for her career.
