In this week’s Anonymous Advice on Thomas and Skhumba In The Morning, Anonymous says she bought shares from a company in 2016 and they are no longer responding to her calls.
“I bought shares at a company and when I called to check if the shares matured the numbers were unavailable. I bought them in 2016,” she shares in part.
Anonymous 2 says she bought shares from the same company. “I bought the same shares. I received a share certificate maybe she might want to send them an e-mail address. The last correspondence I got was in 2021. The certificate says this thing is under computer share.”
Anonymous no 3 warns against buying shares.
Her mother-in-law bought shares for R610 in 2018/2019. “When we tried to reach out to them no one was answering. This thing of giving people money and you don’t see what is it that you are buying doesn’t work for me. I’m very skeptical when it comes to stuff like this. I think this one is also a scam, they are just maybe giving them false hopes,” she shared.
Anonymous no 4 believes that it is legit. She also bought the same shares.
“I also bought those shares in 2016. Then in 2021, I called to check what had happened, but I called through compushare and gave them my ID number and the share certificate – so they are legit. The Best way is to go through compushare,” she advised Anonymous.
