On Friday, a fight broke out between white learners and black learners. Disgruntled learners and parents of colour are calling for the school to treat all students equally.
They are accusing the school of being more lenient towards white learners, while black learners are met with a harsher punishment.
The situation escalated at Hoërskool Jan Viljoen this morning when parents got into heated arguments outside the school.
In a video that was shared to social media a white parent can be seen throwing water on black parents. The man taunts the parents of colour before SAPS members form a barricade between them.
