Miss South Africa runner-up Thato Mosehle is just weeks away from competing in the Miss Supranational pageant in Poland.
She is the first person from South Africa to participate in the international pageant.
Miss Supranational held its first competition in 2009. Women from 80 countries participate in the pageant. The current titleholder is Thailand’s Anntonia Porsild.
Thato has already started participating in the preliminary phase of the pageant.
“We’ve just finished with our Virtual Supra Chats with [Anntonia Porsild]. It was powerful and inspirational, makes me excited to meet everyone in person!” she wrote on Instagram.
The North West beauty leaves for Poland in one week. The competition will take place between 20 and 22 August.
Thato just wrapped up her official Miss Supranational photoshoot and she looks all kinds of amazing.

ChooseDay Talks with Dr Thato
When she is not hard at work carrying out her Miss SA duties, Thato is educating the masses about their health.
She started her own online show, ‘#ChooseDay Talks with Dr Thato’, in April.
Thato completed her medical internship earlier this year and has been sharing her knowledge with her followers.
Her show tackles a range of topics including alcoholism, diabetes, and endometriosis.
The beauty queen’s latest episode is all about miscarriages.
“As a part of my @misssupranational campaign I’m starting a series on my IGTV called ‘#ChooseDay’ talks with Dr Thato. I’ll be releasing short, fun, easy to understand & informative pre-recorded videos every Tuesday in an attempt to help you all make good choices and take charge of your health.
“I will also be sharing some of my personal health experiences and lessons,” she wrote on Instagram.
