Xolile Tshabalala has never been silent about injustice.
In May, she slammed politicians for making fun of poor street vendors.
This time around, she is accusing them of being responsible for the injustice and looting that the country faced last week.
The actress says politicians are using ordinary South Africans to push their agenda, while they stay comfortably in their homes.
She says the majority of South Africans continue to suffer while the politicians’ children are privileged.
“I just realised that South Africa we’re on our own. We don’t have good leaders. There’s a deficit of leadership in South Africa and politicians are using us as missiles to shoot targets for their own gains,” she said in an Instagram video.
“If we as the people don’t see the thugs and the looters that politicians are, we’ll never see that again. Politicians are sitting in the comfort of their own homes, using us as missiles while their children are home schooled and are online,” she said.

The former ‘Generations’ star questioned why South Africans are destroying the things they need the most and a democracy they fought so hard for.
“White monopolies never destroyed their own buildings. They never destroyed their own universities. They never destroyed their own schools. As the black majority what are we doing. We’ve had democracy for 27 years and we destroyed it within eight days.
“What have we done other than destroying the very things that we need the most. I’ve never heard a politician saying ‘I’m fighting for a lab or a black monopoly university’, at least show me that.
“In 27 years we could have done so much as South Africans, but we’ve had our politicians bringing us down.”
The veteran actress accused politicians of greed and using ordinary citizens for their agenda.

“This is unbelievable. This is a country that we thought we’re going up, but we are retrogressing and it’s all because of politicians who want power, money, and greed. They are doing this using us as missiles, “she said.
Tshabalala has asked for South Africans to wake up and realise that they are on their own.
“If you and I don’t wake up and stop this madness, we will wake up with no country,” said the actress.
“You and I need this country. We need to wake up and build this country.
” South Africans, wake up. We are on our own,” she said.
