Terry Pheto wears many hats. She’s an actress, producer, and businesswoman. We can now add amazing home chef to the list.
The ‘A United Kingdom’ star is a foodie of note.
“I love to cook and I love to eat and I love that you can actually have your curves and your African trademark and walk around like an African queen,” she told Top Billing in 2015.
While her favourite meal is a good steak and a glass of red wine, Terry enjoys making the comfort food she grew up eating.
Thanks to the lockdown, she has a lot more time on her hands to whip up her favourtite dishes.
“My Quarantine kitchen is open and I’ll be making more of these quick & delicious meals,” she wrote on Instagram.

Baked beans and eggs

“This is an affordable hearty and easy healthy meal for the family. PS: I fried my eggs because I like them that way. You can break the egg into the beans and bake for 8-12min.”

Tuna and spaghetti salad
“Looking for a perfect quick winter lunch? My go-to meal is a warm tuna and spaghetti salad,” says Terry.
Here’s what Terry’s says you will need for this recipe:
1 Can of tuna
Cooked spaghetti
Olive oil
Lemon juice
Salt and pepper
Chilli flakes, parsley, spring onion, and fennel
Pilchards and pap
Terry says this pilchards and pap recipe takes her back to her mother’s kitchen in Evaton. She also adds a side of cabbage.
