South African denim brand Tshepo jeans have just launched its new collection We, the people. The fabulous range of high-quality jeans, dungarees, T-shirts and other accessories dropped at their Hyde Park store this week.
The collection includes a rainbow T-shirt in support of international pride month and looks to be an inclusive unisex array of items.
“June comes to an end, but Pride will endure. Celebrate Pride with TSHEPO. This month, and every month after that.”
Founder of the brand Tshepo Mohlala said that the dungarees have a piece of steel in the PVC pocket. Steel that is an off-cut from bars that were used in the jail that is now Constitution Hill, the jail that now houses the constitution of South Africa and with it, the rights of all who live within this country.
The latest collection from Tshepo Jeans is an acknowledgement of the struggles the people of this country had to endure and overcome. It is apt that the collection dropped on the last day of youth month.
“This collection pays homage to the struggle that was endured, a struggle that binds us all. A LUTA CONTINUA.”
