Gospel star HLE led SAMA32 with three major wins, including SAMPrA Album of the Year for The Ground We’re On.

Gospel artist HLE spearheaded the 32nd South African Music Awards (SAMA32) Homecoming edition, taking Lesedi FM Female Artist of the Year, SAMPrA Album of the Year (The Ground We’re On), and Best Contemporary Faith Music Video.
The full line-up of winners spans South Africa’s diverse music scene:
- Mzukulu: Motsweding FM Male Artist of the Year and uKhozi FM Best Maskandi Album (Ng’funa Intozami).
- Amadodana Ase Wesile: Radio 2000 Duo/Group of the Year and Best African Indigenous Faith Album.
- Bucy Radebe: Best Traditional Faith Music Album (Praise & Worship in the Wilderness, Pt. 1).
- Makhadzi Entertainment: Best Traditional Music Album (Sesi Ka Rose).
- Will Linley: Best Pop Album (Don’t Cry Because It’s Over).
- Brendan Peyper: Beste Pop Album (Troumateriaal).
- Kabza De Small: Best Amapiano Album (Bab’Motha).
- Nontokozo Mkhize: SAMRO Highest Airplay Composer Award (Esandleni).
- Paras “Sibalukhulu” Dlamini: SABC 1 Newcomer of the Year.
- DJ Maphorisa & XDuppy (ft. Thatohatsi, Young Stunna, Nkosazana Daughter): CAPASSO Most Streamed Song of the Year (Abantwana Bakho).
Organisers noted, “SAMA32 has once again reminded us that South African music is built on generations of talent, creativity and perseverance.”
Fittingly, Lifetime Achievement recipient Oskido and International Achievement winner Tyla closed the night by encouraging all nominees to continue pursuing their craft.
