Professor Thuli Madonsela marked a month since the peaceful passing of her husband, Richard Edward Foxton, with a candle-lighting ceremony and song, expressing deep gratitude for the support received.

Professor Thuli Madonsela has marked a month since the peaceful passing of her beloved husband, Richard Edward Foxton, affectionately known as Dick or “Mr. Foxton.” Mr. Foxton died in his bed at the age of 82 on 21st June.
Since his passing, Professor Madonsela has shared heartfelt tributes in his memory.
To commemorate the one-month anniversary of Mr. Foxton’s death, the family lit a candle and sang “Beyond The Swelling Flood,” a song chosen to reflect the remarkable life he lived.
Professor Madonsela also expressed her profound gratitude for the outpouring of support she has received.
“To mark the first month anniversary (21 June-21 July) of our dearly departed Richard Edward Foxton, AKA Dick/Fox, we lit a candle and sang ‘Beyond The Swelling Flood’ in gratitude for his remarkable life and love. Thank you all for your immeasurable support ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” she shared.
