Reality TV star and radio broadcaster, Minnie Ntuli, has taken to social media to express her thoughts about her recent feud with Londie London, her co-star on the fifth season of The Real Housewives of Durban.
The two women had a tumultuous relationship on the show, which began after Londie commented on Minnie’s dress during the girls’ dinner.
The incident occurred when Minnie’s dramatic, wing-patterned dress accidentally knocked over a champagne glass, and Londie laughed, calling Minnie’s dress “amaphiko” or “wings” in IsiZulu. In her diary confessions, Londie said she wasn’t trying to be malicious.
Minnie took offense to the remark, and the two women spent the rest of the season coming at each other’s careers, families, and net worth.
The tension between them escalated, with Londie suggesting that Minnie was trying to stay relevant by using her name, while Minnie made a controversial comment about Londie, saying, unlike her, she works on her feet and not her back.
She went as far as saying the entire country knows what she means. The season ended on a bad note with no apologies from either women.
Minnie’s energy brought Londie London to tears, citing she’s being bullied.
In a recent video, Minnie reflected on the situation, saying, “Londie is a strong personality, I am a strong personality, and I think we got off the wrong foot. Those words were mean, she did not deserve that.”
Following in the footsteps of Nonku “Nonks” Williams, Minnie Ntuli has decided not to attend the season’s reunion. However, in a surprising turn of events, Minnie has chosen to host her own reunion on her Instagram page, where she will share her thoughts and feelings about the season’s events.
Through this platform, Minnie says she will address everything she would have discussed at the reunion.
