One half of award-winning music duo Black Motion, Thabo Smol, recently took to social media to celebrate his nephew Omolemo’s graduation.
In a heartfelt post, the producer and performer expressed deep pride and love for his nephew, alluding to the challenges they’ve overcome together.
“WELL DONE OMOLEMO, MY VERY HUMBLED NEPHEW BOY,” he wrote in all caps, capturing the raw emotion behind the moment. “I’D WRITE A WHOLE BOOK ABOUT THE THINGS WE WENT THROUGH, BUT TODAY IS YOUR BIG DAY — NOT ABOUT THE HUSTLE AND HOW YOU/WE MADE IT HERE!”
Known for his musical brilliance and enigmatic stage presence, Thabo stepped into a softer, more personal role with this public show of support.
He ended his post with words that reflect both deep affection and admiration:
“CONGRATULATIONS BOY, I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART AND I’M SUPER PROUD OF YOU MFANAKA. RECORD BREAKING.”
Fans flooded the comments with messages of congratulations and love.
In 2023, Black Motion joined The Hive with Bonolo BeeSting to chat about their group’s split and new member in an exclusive sitdown.
