After announcing earlier this year that his next Fill Up concert was in the works, South African rapper Cassper Nyovest has officially revealed Bloemfontein as the chosen destination.
The award-winning artist shared the news with great excitement, writing:
“BLOEMFONTEIN!!!! Home of Masele!! (yah le nou), Home of the Free State Cheetahs, Home of the second highest court in South Africa, Hosh Karamaima Capital (mare nna I’m married bathong), Centre of the FREE STATE!!! Bana ba ga Oumama!!!”
He continued: “We heard you, kele utlwile… 06 December, Free State Stadium. RE ON ON ON!!! It’s official — Bloem is the next host for FILL UP! #FillUpFreeStateStadium South Africa HAUWENG VRY STAATA!!”
Tickets for the highly anticipated event are already on sale.
Cassper’s Fill Up series has become a pioneering initiative in South African music, with the rapper aiming to fill some of the country’s biggest stadiums.
The very first Fill Up concert was held at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg drawing a crowd of around 20,000 and marking a historic moment for local hip-hop.
