South African coach Rhulani Mokwena and Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca have officially parted ways.
The news was confirmed by the club, nicknamed the Red Castle, via a statement on their official X (formerly Twitter) account:
“The contract between WAC and coach Rhulani Mokwena has come to an end.”
Mokwena has yet to comment on his departure through any of his personal social media platforms.
Wydad also announced that Med Amine Benhachem will take over as interim head coach of the team.
Rhulani Mokwena joined the Moroccan giants in 2024 following his departure from South African side Mamelodi Sundowns.
