Celebrated actor S’dumo Mtshali is marking 15 years in the entertainment industry, a milestone he commemorated by reflecting on his remarkable journey.
Mtshali’s path to stardom started at Durban University of Technology (DUT), followed by his pivotal participation in the 2010 debut season of the talent show Class Act.
Shortly after, in October 2010, Mtshali landed his first leading role in the acclaimed SABC1 drama Intersexions, followed by a role in Rhythm City.
His career trajectory continued upward, with prominent roles such as Kuti Daniels in SABC1’s Tempy Pushas and Spikiri in the 2012 film Inside Story.
From 2013 to 2014, Mtshali captivated audiences as Sibusiso “S’bu” Ndlovu in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Isibaya.
He also starred in lead roles in films like Back of the Moon, Avenged, iNumber Number, Saints and Sinners,” and most recently on My Brother’s Keeper.
To commemorate his 15th anniversary, Mtshali reflected on his Class Act audition and subsequent triumph, reminding audiences of the humble origins of his illustrious career.
“Today marks 15 years… I’m so grateful. Thank you God. Lord, thank You for all the hope I can have in You. You are my helper and You are the One Who intercedes on my behalf. I therefore have nothing to fear and there is no condemnation, because my life is in You. In Jesus Christ name, Amen,” wrote Mtshali on Instagram.
