South African actress Rosemary Zimu recently celebrated her baby shower with close friends and family.
Sharing some moments from the special occasion, she described it as ‘A Blooming Blessing.’
Zimu had announced her pregnancy in February of this year, revealing the exciting news with a breathtaking cover shoot.
The Queen actress shared the joyful announcement on the cover of Batswadi Magazine, expressing her excitement about this new chapter in her life.
“What started as fear quickly turned into overwhelming joy,” she said. “I’m embracing this journey one step at a time, knowing it’s shaping me into someone even stronger and more purpose-driven.”
Rosemary Zimu is a South African actress and singer, widely recognised for her role as Warona in the popular Mzansi Magic soapie The Queen.
She began her television acting career with the TV film Wena Wedwa, which premiered on 10 March 2018 as part of Mzansi Magic’s Lokshin Bioskop series of made-for-TV movies.
Later that year, she landed a recurring role as Veronica in the SABC3 soapie Isidingo, making her debut on 23 May 2018.
In 2019, Zimu expanded her repertoire with a cameo appearance in Episode 5 of the Netflix superhero series Shadow, which premiered globally on 8 March. That same month, she earned a guest role in an episode of the MTV Base drama series MTV Shuga 7: Down South. This opportunity came after she was chosen as one of nine actors from thousands who auditioned during open casting calls.
