Our traffic reporter, Juliet Joseph, recently shared on-air that she was looking for a Valentine’s date. What she didn’t anticipate was a flood of listeners eagerly pleading their cases live on air and offering to take her out.
All the entries were narrowed down to a shortlist of five, and listeners were invited to vote for who they believed would be the perfect suitor. A 34-year-old man from Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, named Lethabo, received the majority of the votes.
As she prepares for her date with Lethabo this week, Juliet shared her expectations, saying she is looking for a true gentleman.
“Someone who will open the door for me, pull out my chair, and engage in good conversation. I’m also expecting a good listener because I talk a lot,” she said. Juliet also revealed that her biggest deal-breaker is poor hygiene.
With excitement building, Juliet is ready to see if Lethabo can live up to her expectations and make this Valentine’s date one to remember.
