With just a few days until the new season of The Mommy Club airs, we caught up with Rosette Ncwana, the businesswoman, model, and newest addition to the cast.
Rosette shared her thoughts on joining the show, her parenting style, and the connections she formed during filming.
When asked what drew her to The Mommy Club, Rosette explained, “It was the opportunity to share a different side of myself. As someone who is often in the spotlight, it’s easy for people to see only one dimension of who I am. This show allows me to showcase more of who I truly am.”
Describing her parenting style, she said, “My approach is a balance of structure and warmth. I believe in setting boundaries and instilling good values, but I also make sure my children feel loved, supported, and heard. My inspiration comes from my own upbringing, as well as my desire to raise confident, kind, and independent children.”
Rosette also reflected on the friendships she formed with her fellow cast members. “I’ve developed a deeper connection with Noksie and Mrs J. I tend to gravitate towards them because they’re real with me and aren’t trying to be something they’re not,” she shared.
Reflecting on her personal growth during filming, Rosette revealed, “Absolutely, I learned a lot about myself. One of the biggest takeaways is that I’m capable of handling more than I give myself credit for. Filming showed me that I can be flexible, but also firm in what I stand for. I realised that while I can be strong in tough situations, it’s also okay to embrace the moments that make me feel vulnerable. Both sides of me are important.”
