Reality TV star and influencer, Inno Morolong, has been sentenced to 12 months of house arrest with severe restrictions on her travels and activities.
The Randburg Magistrates Court gave the ruling on Tuesday, bringing an end to her widely publicised feud with Tebogo Thobejane.
The court case arose from a heated disagreement between the former friends in 2023 when Morolong accused Thobejane of being a scammer, sex worker, pimp, and a muthi user on Instagram Live.
The court found Morolong guilty of crimen injuria and defamation.
She has been prohibited from using alcohol or narcotics while under home arrest.
Any breach of the terms of her home detention, or any comparable offenses committed during the probationary period, will result in immediate imprisonment. The decision also includes a condition that bans Inno from entering Johannesburg.
Furthermore, she has also been mandated to perform a minimum of 16 hours of community service each month, without any form of compensation.
